Paul completed his undergraduate studies at the University Of The Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
His internship and physician training were completed on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.
His cardiac training was completed at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane, after which He Undertook a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology in the USA at The University of Minnesota, where the renowned Dr Christian Barnard trained many years before.
This was followed by a further fellowship in Interventional Procedures for structural heart disease.
He Has Publications In The American Heart Journal.
Upon returning to Australia, he became the first Interventional Cardiologist on the Gold Coast to perform Mitral Valvuloplasty and the first to perform ASD and PFO closures under Intracardiac Echo guidance.
He is the founder of Cardiac Care Associates.
His interests include structural cardiac intervention, valvuloplasty, percutaneous valve implantation, and complex coronary intervention.
