Dr Khan has been a podiatrist over 30 years and serves patients both in the UK and Australia. Dr Khan graduated as a podiatrist in 1993 and went on to complete a BSc Hons in Podiatric studies (1994) and then undertook a Doctoral Research (PhD) on Phytochemical, Biological and Clinical evaluation of Thuja occidentalis on Verruca pedis (warts) at the University of London in 2004. In 2012 he was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and in 2017 became a Chartered Scientist. Dr Khan is registered with the Health Care Professions Council in the UK and AHPRA.

Currently Dr Khan practices as an Honorary fellow in Dermatology at St George’s Hospital, Consultant Podiatrist and Specialist in Podiatric Dermatology at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Clinical Fellow at QUT Podiatry School, Brisbane.

Dr Khan also works in the UK as a Consultant Podiatrist and Director of the Marigold Clinic, University College London Hospitals. This Department of Podiatry is the only department globally providing integrated treatment for podiatric related conditions.

He practices as a Conventional Podiatrist with a special interest in integrated medicine and Dermatology. Dr Khan uses the Marigold Therapy, which has undergone clinical studies, for some podiatric conditions. The therapy is based on extracts of the Marigold Tagetes family and is used on a topical basis with Podiatric management plans.

He has a special interest in Podiatric Dermatology, and has an interest in rare genetic conditions Keratoderma, Pachyonychia congenita and Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). These are a genetic condition concerning the fragility of the skin.

Dr Khan also holds several academic posts including Senior Lecturer (Adjunct) UNSW, Clinical Professor (Adjunct)at Temple University, Philadelphia, and visiting Clinical Professor in Podiatric Medicine, University of Sunderland.

His current areas of research include the integrated management of viral warts and verruca pedis, Soft tissue pain and inflammation, plantar fasciitis, hallux valgus (bunion), epidermolysis bullosa, chronic corns, Nail conditions, Psoriasis and wound healing.

Dr Khan will be available Wednesdays from 1pm to see patients with all types of Podiatric related conditions.
