Dr Mulligan is an Australian and internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing in inner-west and southern Sydney. He treats a wide variety of orthopaedic injuries and conditions, particularly of the lower limbs (hip, knee, foot, ankle) in adults and children. His specialist interests are in orthopaedic trauma and lower limb elective surgery including sports knee injuries (ACL reconstructions, meniscal surgery etc) and joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee.
Dr Mulligan is an academic surgeon and educator, having been awarded a PhD for his research. He is also a Clinical Lecturer at the University of NSW. His philosophy is to bring the latest advances and techniques, combined with an empathetic and understanding approach, to patient care.
Dr Mulligan consults from the WISE clinic at Carringbah as well as Campsie and Bankstown, and operates at St George Private, Sydney Private Hospital (Ashfield) and Kareena Private.
